A Transformative Investment in Navarro County

Vector Datacenters is planning a next-generation data center campus with a community-first approach that represents significant investment in Navarro County. The project will create jobs, generate millions in annual tax revenue, strengthen local infrastructure and support the digital technologies that power the economy today and in the future.

Why Data Centers Matter

Data centers are infrastructure. Just as railroads and highways move goods across Texas, data centers move the information that powers our economy.

Next-generation data centers support the infrastructure behind:

  • National Security
  • Healthcare Systems
  • Public Safety Communications
  • Financial Services
  • Everyday Internet Services
  • Cloud Computing
  • Artificial Intelligence

Responsible Water Use

Designed for Minimal Water Use

Vector’s next-generation data center is designed with closed-loop, air-cooled technology that dramatically reduces water needs. Reinforcing our commitment to responsible water use, we’ve designed our power generation to require no water.

Local Utility Water Supply

Vector is exploring a partnership with the local water utility to improve water infrastructure in the community. The project will utilize water solely for building operations and the closed-loop cooling system’s maintenance. For irrigation and landscape purposes, the project will use reclaimed or non-potable water.

Cooling System

  • Closed-loop air-cooled system: Our facility cools itself primarily with air — not water.
  • The cooling system requires a one-time initial fill of 1.2 M gal.
  • Once filled, the amount of liquid inside the system stays sealed in a loop and is reused continuously.
  • Minimal annual make-up water replenishment due to maintenance: 12,000 to 24,000 gallons
  • Humidification: About 321,000 gallons annually.

Daily Operations

About 1,000 gallons per day — comparable to roughly four single-family homes or a standard office building with 40-50 employees. This water supports restrooms, breakrooms, sinks and janitorial facilities.

Power Generation

Vector’s power generation does not require any water.

Power Independence

Zero Reliance on Local Electric Grid

One of Vector’s points of difference is its 100% on-site, off-grid power generation with no grid impact.

Vector Will:

  • Generate its own electricity onsite
  • Have no impact on residential or commercial electric rates or supply
  • Utilize advanced power generation technologies, designed for reliability and minimal environmental impact

Designed with the Community in Mind

Vector Datacenters has designed the campus to be a good neighbor. Our project will be built to meet and exceed local codes and permitting requirements. Plans also will include noise and light mitigation measures designed to reduce operational sound levels, light spillover, and maintain compatibility with neighboring land uses. Berming and robust landscaping will help screen the site and mitigate the visual impact of the building.

Examples Include:

  • Green landscaping along the perimeter
  • Thoughtful layout of the site
  • Smart building orientation
  • Sound barriers
